This is a truly remarkable place. We were transported into Renaissance grandeur (with modern comfort). The welcome was warm and the views stunning. Bedrooms are even more spectacular than the photos.

A memorable place
Castello monterado was our first stop on this trip to Italy and I am so glad I chose it. It is a beautiful hotel, maintained beautifully and was such a special experience for our family. The rooms are beautiful and you literally feel immersed in history. Orlando and kiara were so friendly and helpful, I actually didn't want to leave! Would highly recommend if you enjoy being slightly off the beaten track.

Excellent stay
Beautiful surroundings, wonderful hosts, delicious breakfast and spacious beautiful rooms, full of character. We loved every minute of our stay here. There was every modern facility, a safe, fridge, lift, air conditioning and lots of genuine 400 year old charm.
