Just a few minutes from Monterado Castle, visible from the terraces of the residence, lies Tenuta Marino: a young winery that has chosen the hills of the Marche region as the place to put down roots and bring to life a family project built on passion and authenticity.

Surrounded by a landscape that combines sea, hills, and mountains, the estate boasts eight hectares of vineyards where some of the most representative varieties of the area, such as Sangiovese and Montepulciano, grow alongside international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Chardonnay. The production is completed by a prized Pinot Bianco, used to create a Metodo Classico sparkling wine, and a centuries-old olive grove that produces an intense organic extra virgin olive oil.

Tenuta Marino’s philosophy is to respect the rhythms of nature and promote the agricultural wealth of the Marche region, offering wines that tell the story of these lands, sip after sip. Next to the vineyards, an orchard with over forty varieties of trees—figs, plums, apricots, oriental pears—further enriches the offering, giving life to preserves and seasonal products that smell of tradition.

Available experiences

• Tour of the vineyard and winery
  Guided walk through the vineyards and visit to the winemaking facilities, with an explanation of the techniques used and the company’s philosophy.
  Duration: approximately 1 hour

• Wine tasting
  Tasting of the estate’s main wines, accompanied by bread and organic extra virgin olive oil from the estate and small local specialities.
  Duration: 1–1.5 hours

• Full itinerary
  Tour of the vineyards and winery with final tasting of wines, oil and seasonal preserves.
  Duration: up to 2 hours

Visits are available all year round, with opening hours varying according to the season.
Advance booking is always required, either by telephone or e-mail, or at the Castello Reception.
