Parco Naturale del Monte San Bartolo of Marche Region
Protected area, largely made up of living cliffs that you will admire between spurs overlooking the sea and undulating rock, hills full of vineyards and olive trees, paths surrounded by brooms (in June and July), shrubs and wonderful views on the beaches of the park. One of the most popular tours, which takes us to discover the Gradara Castle and the ancient villages of San Bartolo Park, passing through Fiorenzuola di Focara and Casteldimezzo.
Today you have an opportunity to admire the beauties, smell the scents and learn a little about the history of our territory.
Description of the E-bike tour: Usually 100% asphalt road but with your guide you can choose also dirty or easy dirty roads, according to your training level. Parco San Bartolo is a technical place.
In the morning 09.00-13.00 or in the afternoon 15.00-19.00 - about 4 hours biking a ring of 40 km - altitude 380/450 mts. (with your guide you will plan your personalized tour according to your training level and wish). You can cycle till a limit of 60 kms to be within 4h tour.
Route: arrival at the MP in Gabicce Monte by your own car (about 1h)
Biking from Gabicce Monte to Fiorenzuola di Focara, Casteldimezzo till Gradara cycling along asphalt roads where cars, moto, local traffic usually drive (it is not a park closed to the road traffic, there are a lot of paths but out of the main street), especially at weekends.On Sunday morning the main street is closed to the traffic, from Baia Vallugola to Pesaro (06.00-12.00) all year round but inhabitants and hotel/b&B clients can drive it so you can find traffic at that time too. Stops to admire, taking fotos...admiring views on the vineyards, rocks, panoramic views on the sea.
E-bike Pick-up-Drop-off: Gabicce Monte (you will receive the right address at confirmation)
On your way back the guide will suggest you some places to eat and taste something from a sandwhich or the famous piadina bread or lunch with fish menu on panoramic restaurants. (not included in the package price).
